- Adamek defeats Bell !!!
On Sudany in Katowice – Spodek Tomasz „Góral” Adamek defeated in the technical knockout American O'Neil Bell. The entire fight was contracted for 12 rounds, but the Pole manager to win already in the seventh round!
With brilliant tactics and few blows Adamek manged to damped down the bright star of junior heavyweight category and as a prize he was given the opportunity to fight for the IBF World Chamion Belt. In this battle Adamek will meet Krzysztof Włodarczyk’s tamer Steve Cunningham.

In the beginning of the seventh round Bell achieved three straight lefts. For the rest of the fight Pole was taking control over its partner, proving he was faster and stronger.
The eight round didn’t start. Bell himself confirmed he was not able to continue the fight.
In this way our countryman has achieved 35 win in his career.
Apart from Tomek’s win, we could observe successful defense of the junior WBC championship in middleweight category, made by Damian Jonak, who defeated Sebastian Spengler. Whilest Tomasz Hurkowski in WBC junior heavyweight category defeated Blanchard Kalambaya and achieved the junior world champion title.
